Broomstick Crochet, The Peacock eye

This stitch is very pretty and made using. Crochet hook and a large knitting needle to hold the loops, that are gathered together in groups of 5. I have used a double crochet and a single crochet to alternate the rows. For a scarf usually I make 5 groups of 5. This was the very first stitch I learnt as a child and is hence very precious to me. Over the years I have made quite a lot of these broom stick scarf.. Also known as the peacock eye stitch. These are a few of those that i made. Enjoy them and do leave a comment.
