Jimkis

A jimki is an umbrella shaped jewelry that is worn by Indian women for their ears.
The Navratna, or the precious stones jimki is made with gold studded precious stones. There are silver ones as well.
This one was handmade by me and goes so very well with the embroidered top.
Used a palette of various clays to get these colors. Brings to mind golden wet sand with a dash of red ..
